I sold my whole collection for five dollars. I built War Candy so you never have to.
How It Started
War Candy was born from a love of trading card games that started when I was eight years old. Like a lot of kids, I fell for Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh! cards. My first collection didn't last long, for reasons that had nothing to do with me. My cards were taken away, but I wasn't ready to let the passion go. I started drawing Pokémon fan art and trading it for cards and Bakugan. Little by little, I built my collection back from scratch.
Why I Sold My Cards
Then came middle school, and the age where collecting cards was suddenly not cool anymore. I sold my entire collection for five dollars. I never realized how many of those cards would become valuable. More importantly, I never realized how many were memories I'd never get back.
Years later, I found myself chasing that feeling again — the rush of opening packs, building decks, making trades, collecting something I was proud of. That's why I made War Candy.
Why War Candy Exists
My mission is simple: help collectors protect the memories they're building today. Whether you're filling your first binder or you've been at this for years, your collection deserves accessories that look as awesome as the cards inside.
The name isn't about combat. It's about competition — the thrill of a close match, the drive to get better, the feeling of leveling up your collection. I want products that make collecting more fun while keeping your cards safe, organized, and in great shape.
Most of all, I don't want today's kids to make the mistake I did. Keep your collection. Take care of it. Have fun. Be competitive. Never let anyone convince you that what you love is lame.
Welcome to War Candy. Level up your collection.
